Simplicity is complicated.

My head is way too full, the thoughts inside are trapped. They\'re crowded out with so much pointless dross.
Each thought will stand in queue and wait until its time comes up, but there always is a line it never gets to cross.

I took myself aside, illiminated worldly stress. I needed to confide, I wanted to confess.
But I didn\'t have the answers to what would make me whole, I only had the questions burning in my soul.

How can I be so full yet so empty inside.
How can my narrow mind turned out to be so wide.
Devouring so much but never swallowing.
Simplicity is a complicated thing.

My life is way too short, it\'s like a speeding train.
Hurtling down the tracks to who knows when and where.
And yet my life is long, I watch the seconds tick away.
As I push myself up and endless spiral stair.

I took myself away to clear the cobwebs, shift the fog.
I closed my eyes to pray that I would find the missing cog.
I didn\'t have solutions to satisfy my need,
I only had the problems, obsessions I could feed,

How can I be so full yet so empty inside.
How can my narrow mind turned out to be so wide.
Tasting so much yet never swallowing.
Simplicity is a complicated thing.
