I found an old wikiloops forum thread similar to this but mostly it attracted pictures of musical equipment :D I thought I would try it again. I know we have members here who are artistic in other ways and I'd like to see what they produce. Thank you in anticipation :)
Do you have a favorite artist?
Do you make art yourself?
What visual art do you have in your home?
Here's one of mine.

Thanks David I'd love to see some of your art. :)

If anyone wants to post a picture, it's easy once you see "Choose File" (in a box) next to attachment. Click on that and it takes you to your files, select a picture and then post :) It took me a while to realise this. I'll try another one now. This was an album cover idea.

It’s a great idea Shamika! I would also like to see what our WL artists do. I really like your painting. Listening to your texts, I feel like I see you in your painting. :)

I'm delighted to see some artwork coming up here and there seems to have a very 'modern' feel to it all. Conceptual, Abstract, Fauvism, Futurism ?
More please... any style, any medium !

Wow, very cool to see another creative side of 'loopers <3 . I used to draw back when I was younger and in high school, did arts and crafts, stained glass etching, calligraphy, etc. I haven't tapped into that since high school. I do like certain artists though, more in the realm of those who illustrate and create posters, typically screen print posters of various things, could be artists commissioned for a movie poster, or concert poster, etc. "Limited" screen print posters are what I prefer. Some of my favorite artists (of whom I own posters of are):

Kevin Tong

I have too many to list. Just a few other artists:

Pascal Campion

Have always enjoyed his illustrations and art, I have some of his prints and I met him at Comic-Con.

More artists...

Nico Delort - https://www.nicolasdelort.com/

Hey, thanks for all that Nick, plenty to check out there, you really know your artists.

I wonder if people still stick posters on their walls these days? If you do take a pic for the thread :)

speaking of art, my mom is really talented (i think) at art work. maybe that's where we get some of our art interest from. anyways, my mom is 79 or 80, i'm still glad to have her around. when i last saw her, she was showing me her painted rock collection. she has so many cool rocks with her art on them. she gave one to my daughter, here's a pic of it :)

Nice thread indeed! I got a few interesting pictures in my house, and as my son S-Gee AKA as Scusy is a painter I have quite a few of his abstract art hanging on the wall. One of them is a picture that he gave me for my birthday, he took an old photograph of me when I was 18 and now it's hanging in my living room :)

I'm really happy to see this great art coming from WLs and their relatives. Art is so subjective, I remember coming last in Art at school then a new teacher came and suddenly I was 1st every year and won competitions and gallery space for paintings. More recently I switched to charcoal and use my fingers a lot :D.
The picture below was done with pastels, it hangs in my porch but it's the back yard of a former house.
