Change, when is it good and when is it bad. I am one of very few wikiloopers who like to change their avotar often. I know it's a bad move because people look out for the picture they know - some go back many years and become familiar faces even though they must be way out of date. A new avotar for me may show how I'm feeling that day - angry, bored, depressed, passionate, arty or cute :)

I like to change things that I CAN change because there are so many things in life that you can't change.

i do like the challenge or uncomfortableness of playing in a genre you don't typically do, or have much reference about. being comfortable with being uncomfortable might be a way of embracing change for me :)

I'm so with you on that Nick, it's scary and fun to change your usual image. Not every musician would agree, some find a style that fits their personality, that suits them, that they have mastered maybe and they stay with it for ever.
I do go against my change philosophy when it comes what I eat and how I dress and the people I love, I stay in my comfort zone with those things, never experiment.

it's odd for me to face being timid, especially when that comfort is lacking. i think that can be a good feeling though :)

There is a lady in our family who has lived in the house she was born in all of her life (83 years) Her husband died recently but she insists on staying in that house until she dies. I am so different to that, I would change where I live every year if I could. I don't want to move to another Country but I'd like to try some different parts of England, apart from the weather it's a pleasant place to live. Actually, even the weather likes to change constantly.

In our country everyone trying to get own house. This actually is local culture. In other Countries people prefer to rent and change house. I like to be close to the sea, to have garten, plants etc. So everyone is diferent but important everyone is to be happy.

One thing I dislike changing but I am forced to by someone who thought it was a good idea, and that is to put clocks forward or back 1 hour twice a year - it completely messes up my routine and internal body clock - stop it please!
